I started 700 Islands Adventure Tours because I saw too many visitors getting overcharged by middlemen who never set foot on a boat. I wanted to build something different — where you talk directly to the person who will be your captain, before you spend a single dollar. No corporate call centers. No surprises. Just a real conversation with the person who will make your day unforgettable.

Where do I get picked up?
We pick up from three convenient Nassau locations depending on where you're staying:
- Atlantis Marina Village — back side of Harborside (ideal for Atlantis and Paradise Island guests)
- Downtown Dock — next to Señor Frogs (closest to the cruise port)
- Montagu Beach Dock — for guests staying on the eastern side of Nassau
When you text Captain Major, let him know where you're staying and he'll confirm the best pickup spot and exact meeting point with a pin drop on WhatsApp.
What's included in the tour price?
Every tour includes:
- Private boat with Captain Major and crew
- All snorkeling gear (masks, snorkels, fins)
- Kayaks and paddleboards
- Bluetooth speaker for your own music playlist
- Cooler with ice (bring your own drinks or we can arrange)
- Life jackets and safety equipment
Lunch is available as a stop during the tour but is not included in the base price — Captain Major will recommend the best local spots. Add-ons like jet ski rides, banana boat rides, custom décor, and champagne are available at additional cost. Just ask!
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes. We offer free cancellation and flexible rescheduling. Life happens, weather changes, cruise itineraries shift — we get it. Just text Captain Major as soon as you know and he'll sort it out. No penalties, no hassle.
If the weather is unsafe for boating, Captain Major will proactively reach out to reschedule or offer a full refund. Your safety comes first, always.
I'm on a cruise ship. Will I make it back in time?
Absolutely. Captain Major works with cruise passengers every week. When you text him, share your ship name and port times — he'll build the itinerary around your schedule and make sure you're back at the dock with plenty of time to spare.
Most cruise guests depart at 9:30 or 10:00 AM and are back by 3:00–4:00 PM, well before typical all-aboard times. Captain Major has never had a guest miss their ship.
Is this safe for kids and non-swimmers?
Yes — safety is Captain Major's top priority. Life jackets are available in all sizes including children's sizes. The snorkeling spots are in shallow, calm water where you can touch the bottom. Non-swimmers can wade, float with a life jacket, or simply enjoy the beach and the boat.
The crew (Captain Major, Tyrone, and Donnie) are experienced with families and young children. If you have toddlers or anyone with special needs, mention it when you text and Captain Major will tailor the stops to keep everyone comfortable and safe.
How do I book and pay?
You have two options:
- Book online — Choose your tour on this page, click "Book This Tour," and complete your reservation on our website. You can pay securely with a credit card.
- Book via WhatsApp — Text Captain Major, discuss your plans, and he'll send you a secure payment link when you're ready. No pressure, no deposits until you decide.
Most guests start with a WhatsApp conversation to ask questions and customize the itinerary, then book online or via the payment link Captain Major sends.
What should I bring?
Keep it simple:
- Swimsuit (wear it under your clothes)
- Towel
- Sunscreen (reef-safe preferred — we're an eco-conscious tour)
- Sunglasses and a hat
- Your own drinks and snacks (we provide the cooler and ice)
- Phone or waterproof camera for photos
- Cash for lunch if you want to stop at a local restaurant
We provide everything else: snorkel gear, life jackets, kayaks, paddleboards, and the Bluetooth speaker. Just show up ready for a great day.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Captain Major monitors the weather closely. If conditions are unsafe, he will contact you in advance to reschedule or offer a full refund — you don't have to chase him down or worry about losing money.
Light rain rarely stops a tour — some of the best days on the water start with morning clouds that clear up. Captain Major will give you an honest assessment and let you decide. He's been on these waters his whole life and knows exactly when it's safe to go out.
How many people can fit on the boat?
Private tours accommodate up to 8 guests on the standard boat. For larger groups (9–12+), Captain Major can arrange a bigger vessel or coordinate two boats running together. Just let him know your group size when you text and he'll sort it out.
The group island hopping tour runs with mixed bookings, but Captain Major keeps group sizes small to ensure everyone has a great experience — no "cattle boat" crowds.
Do I tip the captain and crew?
Tips are not included in the tour price and are never expected — but they are always appreciated. If Captain Major and the crew make your day special, a tip is a great way to say thanks. Most guests tip 15–20% of the tour price, but any amount is appreciated. Cash is preferred.
